11th Hour trailer (Leo DiCaprio climate change documentary)

Let's hope this documentary by Leonardo Di Caprio would make a bigger impact than Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth". Let's also hope more people will truly appreciate the earth and not wait till the 11th Hour.

I am sorry for not being so optimistic as you are. Because if this Di Caprio campaign will convert into a big show like Gore's did, there is no chance that this will be other than just a movie.

What I am dissapointed about is that it presents almost the same things as Gore did. And still no word about the real triggers for the climate change: the oceans. We can continue talking on and on about politics, cars, energy consumption, industry, etc, but we will still be ignoring the main issue.

It's ok, no worries :)

But u know what? I felt there's a need for such documentaries or movies, it's never enough until everyone do something.

Maybe it's almost the same, but it seems that not many people are totally convinced yet. I read many cynical comments on global warming. It sorta makes me wonder - do we need more proof?

Gore or Di Caprio can only do what they can do or think can help, afterall they are not the decision-makers, they only offer pointers. The crucial decision still lies with the governments, corporations and us individuals.

Lets have faith :)

I think we can all help, but leaders of nations are key players to make this a worldwide movement. Nevertheless it's still possible for an individual to make an impact. I don't really understand the website, what's it about the oceans?
I am disappointed to find out that despite having a toyota pirus, Leonardo doesn't have a vegetarian pirus.

It seems hard to be both a vegetarian and environmentalist for many...

11th Hour has an especially interesting special feature, "Nature's Operating Instructions" ... apparently there is some amazing technology built into nature, a lot there that we should use as a model for our own technology
